Decorplastics Hollow Baseboards: Care & Maintenance:
Decorative plastic panels are designed to maintain its initial color and finish for decades. However typical use and exposure to natural indoor and outdoor elements may result in accumulation of dust or any other materials, therefore owner might want to take some additional steps to maintain an original look of the panels. Here are our basic suggestions.
Care & Maintenance: Use the product in temperatures between -4°F (-20°C) and 140°F (+60°C).
Cleaning: Panels can be cleaned with a soft cloth and the use of regular non-abrasive domestic cleansing products. Do not use solvents or solvent containing products.
Paint removal: Some paints can be removed from your panels using soft brush or cloth and solution of water and mild detergent. Do not use solvents or solvent containing products. Rinse to remove chemicals from the treated areas.
Mold and Mildew removal: Mold and mildew may accumulate on you paneling system when exposed to extremely damp weather conditions. Mold and mildew are not grow on PVC, but might feed on materials that settle on paneling surface. Regular cleaning of the panels will reduce the source of the mold.
